ASSI - "Sex Drive" is a hormonal coming of age story about an Eighteen year-old high school virgin, Ian Lafferty played by Josh Zuckerman who embarks on a journey with his best friends, Lance (Clark Duke) and Felicia (Amanda Crew) to jump start his sex drive and kick it into high gear. The Director, Sean Anders co-wrote "Sex Drive" with his writing partner John Morris, and together they took the liberty to include every obscenity known to man for a laugh, some of it is funny but most it is over-the-top and unnecessary. The story line is typical but the path used to achieve the outcome makes this film interesting. I am pleased that Ian discovers that sex is mental and emotional instead of physical. "Sex Drive" will be in theaters on October 17, 2008. As I see it, "Sex Drive" is a film for a younger audience 16 to 25; however, its a comedy that has humors moments that mature adults can appreciate, but not enough to justify purchasing a movie ticket. I give "Sex Drive" 2.5 blinks.
