ASSI - One of the best restaurants that we experienced while in Los Angeles, CA for the weekend was brunch at 26 on the Beach. I enjoyed it primarily because of the menu. Our party of six ordered the following dishes: Penna Pasta egg dish with mozzarella, cheddar, and feta cheese topped with parsley; croissant french toast sprinkled with confectioner sugar, two scoops of vanilla ice cream topped with blueberry syrup, and a side of raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries; eggs, sausage, and hash browns; french toast topped with confectioner sugar, kiwi, blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, and three different sauces: chocolate, pecan Carmel, blueberry; eggs, salmon, feta cheese, asparagus, mushrooms, and brown rice buried beneath the egg concoction that was topped with parsley; a chicken feta type dish complete with black beans, eggs, chicken, diced ham topped with scallions; and/or a chocolate croissant or french toast topped with lots and lots of confectioner sugar and coco powder, and vanilla ice cream.

The food was absolutely divine for the combinations that were placed together. I would never thought to eat croissant french toast with ice cream, but believe me when I say it was one of the best dishes that I have had the pleasure of tasting, and the salmon dish that I had was tasteful till the last bite that was hours later. There were so many dishes to sample that I had left overs. As I see it, if and when you are in LA you must dine at 26 on the beach for not only the good food options but the experience.
