The Top Five Billionaire Colleges

If you aspire to become a billionaire in our society by means of higher education, then Harvard University located in Cambridge Massachusetts is the #1 school to attend in America. It is considered the best funded college in the United States with an endowment of thirty five billion dollars. Their are four hundred and sixty nine Americans listed on the most current Forbes billionaire list and fifty of them earned at least one degree from Harvard. The most popular alumnus currently is New York's Mayor and philanthropist Mike Bloomberg. Stanford University located in California is considered #2 with thirty billionaire alumnus. The most popular alumnus are Charles Schwab (the brokerage mogul), Philip Night the co-founder of NIKE, Google co-founders Sergey Brinn and Larry Page. The University of Pennsylvania follows a close third with twenty seven billionaire alumnus. The most popular is Donald Trump the real estate tycoon. The top earners, from the University of Pennsylvania, all attended the prestigious Wharton school of business. Yale, located in New Haven Connecticut, has the fourth spot with nineteen billionaire alumnus, and Columbia University rounds out the top five. Twenty Universities and Colleges account for fifty two percent of the billionaire alumni while 182 schools account for the rest.
